Green Tree Burials (Cremation Only)

Honor and celebrate life while sustaining the next.  Our Green Tree Burial  incorporates one's cremated remains into the soil to create a unique testament to one's life.  This option includes a space for a tree, a biodegradable Eco Sphere Urn for cremated remains, and a native tree of your choice from our approved list. 

A beveled granite base and engraved bronze plate provide simple, yet dignified memorialization. 

A watering plan and replacement guarantee is provided for two years.  Green Tree Burials celebrate life and contribute to our growing arboretum at Green Lawn Cemetery.

For those who have passed, the last statement of their footprint on Earth lays path to a better future.  Green Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum will help you plan a dignified burial that emphasizes simplicity. The goal is returning the body to the Earth with a lower environmental impact.

This is our newest burial option at Green Lawn, which provides a beautiful option for those who desire a more environmental sensitive burial that aligns with their values.

This option includes:

• Full body burial space
• Choice of a biodegradable casket or burial shroud
• Bottomless vault, allowing the body to be in contact with the Earth
• Memorial
• Recording in the cemetery's permanent records
